Pay: Summary: The Building Control Systems Specialist is responsible for the installation, programming, testing, calibrating, operating, and repair of building control systems. This includes systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and fire alarm. The Building Control Systems Specialist must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, ALC BMS, microblock coding, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Install, program, test, calibrate, operate, and repair building control systems. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all building control systems. Troubleshoot and repair building control system problems. Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and implement new building control systems. Maintain records of all building control system work. Comply with all applicable safety regulations. Qualifications: Associate's degree in engineering, technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in the installation, programming, testing, calibrating, operating, and repair of building control systems. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
