The Department of Jewish Studies at Rutgers University is seeking to hire a lecturer to teach a course in person in the Spring of 2025. The course should be broadly about Judaism and gender. The course can include material about other religious traditions, but the content should be at least 30% Jewish Studies. Sample courses include "Religion and Reproduction;" "Women Clergy;" "Women in the Bible." The three-credit course it open to all undergraduate students at Rutgers, but it is an elective for the Jewish Studies majors and minors.

Minimum Education and Experience
* PhD or ABD in Jewish Studies, Religion, History, Anthropology, or related discipline
* College-level teaching experience.
