TS POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
$61.92 Hourly The Lead Engineer will utilize advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of building systems and equipment. The role includes monitoring building system operations and performance, utilizing trade skills in plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, fire and life safety systems, painting, and roof systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Employees in this classification must possess and maintain a current license as a Stationary Engineer, First Grade from the State Board of Stationary Engineers Washington DC and Maryland Lead Engineer shall obtain all required corporate and personnel security clearances and must have TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Yankee White background investigations prior to commencement of work. Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited university or college preferred but not required Experience with managing similar contracts that provide comprehensive maintenance of facilities Must possess valid driver's license Current TS/SCI preferred, must possess minimum TS Clearance with ability to obtain SCI Pursuant to Government Contract, you must be a U.S. citizen.
