What is the opportunity?

The Senior Product Manager for Echelon, RBC's Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) platform, will play a key leadership role in building out the support and service offering for the growth of the UHNW segment for RBC Wealth Management US. This role will be responsible for continuing to build out and manage the center of excellence that will support Financial Advisors and their UHNW clients, including identifying and managing key internal and external relationships and related deliverables. The strategy primarily focuses on organic growth and retention of RBC's existing clients with significant wealth including clients experiencing liquidity or wealth events.

What will you do?

  • Manage the build-out and support structure for the UHNW segment related products, partners and technology. Serve as product manager for various capabilities, platforms and technology.

  • Represent the UHNW segment in various strategic priorities including production of specialty and multi-family reporting for the UHNW segment including investment, net worth cash flow and estate reporting.

  • Develop client experience and related common practices, work flows, procedures, report templates and other client deliverables. Create service level standards that ensure efficiencies, consistency and standardization

  • Develop rules of engagement and service level expectations for FAs on accessing the Echelon platform.

  • Serve as a liaison and collaborate with Ultra High Net Worth Strategist, FAs and field leadership on optimizing the Echelon platform including contributing to recruiting meetings.

  • In partnership with marketing, develop and execute a marketing plan including a brand and related style guide along with an array marketing materials and content.

  • Build and manage the relationships with external business partners that provide concierge and specialty lifestyle services. Drive utilization through awareness and promotion,

  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise on the UHNW segment, including competitive and industry knowledge and build networking connections.

  • Develop a plan for a steady flow of thought leadership and content unique to this segment. Continually monitor and benchmark to ensure high impact.

  • Develop regular reporting standards for the UHNW segment to track growth, utilization, and profitability. Serve as the point person for regular reporting metrics and questions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of related industry experience

  • Thorough knowledge of the multi-disciplines wealth management services required to support the UHNW segment (financial planning, investments, banking, cash management, philanthropy, taxes, trusts and estate planning).

  • Well-developed and proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to partner with financial advisors and clients to identify and service unique customer needs

  • Strong program/product management skills, including experience building new capabilities and continually delivering against a robust roadmap.

  • Leadership and management experience

Nice-to-have

  • Advance credentials (CFP, CPA, CIMA)
