FLEET ATTENDANT
Job Description Summary The Fleet Attendant is responsible for washing and cleaning the Executive Leadership's vehicle fleet. Servicing includes a combination of operating the automated car wash and hand washing daily vehicles, minor interior detailing, and refueling. The Fleet Attendant will augment openings in their workload by assisting the Maintenance Department with minor Preventive Maintenance Inspections and minor maintenance tasks. JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Exterior and interior vehicle cleaning according to set schedules and daily rosters. Valet vehicles to & from assigned parking stalls. Managing vehicle key inventory and valet cabinets. Operate automated single-bay car wash equipment. Safely operate the facility equipment in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate and enforce safety rules and behaviors. Identify, enforce, and assess safety hazards and risks. Assist the Maintenance Department with minor Preventive Maintenance Inspections and minor maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Manage daily work order assignments using the established CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Complete other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or state equivalent REQUIRED LICENSE Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to perform all work using the proper personnel protective equipment (PPE). In strict accordance, ability to perform all applicable safety policies, procedures, and practices. Communicate using email. Demonstrate aptitude for and/or have practical experience with thermodynamic, electrical, and/or mechanical systems, as well as computer-controlled equipment. Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel, Outlook. PHYSICAL WORK ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including: Walking large, campus-like settings. Occasional lifting of 40 lbs. Using ladders up to 8ft and working from heights. |
