Texas Colon & Rectal Specialistsis looking for a Certified Surgery Medical Assistant II to join our team! This position will support the Austin,Texas location. This position will be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on candidate experience. Texas Colon & Rectal Specialists is a specialty surgical division within Texas Oncology that is committed to providing leading-edge treatments for colon and rectal diseases and disorders. Texas Colon & Rectal Specialist (TCRS) is here to provide our patients with leading-edge treatment for anal abscesses, fistulas, fissures, colon cancer, hemorrhoids, and ostomy care. What does the Certified Surgery Medical Assistant do?(including but not limited to) Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physicians schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
