The successful candidate will engineer, schedule, and manage projects to expand and maintain the outside plant network for CCI. The candidate will work and meet with internal and external construction resources, peer engineering teams, customers, and government officials to ensure builds are completed in required timeframes. Engineering of projects consists of field work, preparation of labor and material estimates and associated CAD work prints, including acquiring all easements and permits from both private landowners and government entities when needed. The candidate must also work within budget constraints, and strive to ensure projects are completed within estimated costs.

This position is a hybrid role, based from home except as needed for projects within the greater Sacramento, CA area.

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year degree in engineering, or telecommunications OSP experience, or related field, with 2 or more years experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency including spreadsheets and word
  • Possess strong time management skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • AutoCad drafting experience or a similar CAD based drafting system
  • Familiarity with OSP engineering, OSP Construction process, inventory and work manager processes
  • Budget experience in OSP and how it relates to CAPEX
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $55,882 - $84,714
