Position Description:
Located at our client's industrial facility in Martinez, California, the Senior Wellness Program Manager (Sr. PM) will work collaboratively with the designated client health promotion team as part of WebMD's Dedicated Well-being Services team. This individual will provide face-to-face health coaching to eligible participants while actively raising awareness of the well-being program. Responsibilities include promoting and implementing onsite programs and initiatives, as well as highlighting the WebMD products and services that support and enhance these offerings. Given the industrial work environment, the Sr. PM will tailor wellness programming and communications to meet the unique needs, schedules, and safety considerations of the onsite workforce. This role will work onsite and travel up to 25% of the time.
In this role, you will:
  • Provide face to face lifestyle health coaching, providing individualized support for participants, with a particular focus on managing stress, building resilience, and fostering overall mental and physical well-being.
  • Assist with creating mental health and other well-being materials for health education, campaigns, and program promotion.
  • Create, promote, and deliver stress and mental health-focused programs to small and large groups both in-person and virtually, while also coordinating and facilitating onsite events such as lunch-and-learns, stop-by booths, and health fairs.
  • Increase awareness and engagement in client-wide well-being offerings.
  • Establish relationships and buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations for well-being initiatives by client site location.
  • Assist, facilitate, and collaborate with client partners-including benefits, environmental health and safety, occupational health, medical, behavioral health/EAP, facilities, and others-to support and coordinate well-being events and initiatives.
  • Track and report on all participant-facing activities (presentations, tabling events, workshops).
  • Review program performance and provide ongoing health/wellness strategy support.
  • Perform other, varied job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, Psychology, Kinesiology, Public Health, Dietetics, or a related health-focused field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate wellness, health promotion, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • If not already certified, must achieve (and maintain) a nationally recognized health coach certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple client stakeholders in a dynamic and stressful environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.
Preferred
  • Master of Public Health (MPH), Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work or related field preferred
  • Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating stress management or mental health support programs, with demonstrated success in creating engaging, evidence-based initiatives that drive participation and positive outcomes.
  • Special interest/certification in relaxation, yoga, or mindfulness/meditation.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering engaging, evidence-based programs that promote stress management, resilience, emotional well-being, and overall mental health.

Comp: $75K-$85K
