Job Description

The Director of Financial Analytics at Omni Hotels & Resorts will lead the financial analytics team to promote data-driven decision making across the organization. This role involves developing and implementing financial models, conducting comprehensive analyses, and providing strategic insights to optimize financial performance and support business objectives.

This position is based in our corporate office, located in Dallas, Texas and is an on-site.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Deliver highly-variable financial insight and commentary based on comprehensive view of enterprise financial results.
    • Assess operational business opportunities and risks with a strong orientation to long-term enterprise value creation.
    • Synthesize and communicate key financial and business insights at an executive-level to drive decision-making across the enterprise
    • Provide thought leadership and guidance to support strategic business initiatives for regional leadership teams as well as organizational Subject Matter Experts ("SMEs")
    • Play a critical role as a leader in the Finance organization, bringing an enterprise-level perspective to the Finance organization.
  • Support the FP&A efforts for the Omni Service Center Executive Leaders, including long-term strategic planning, annual operating and capital budgets, forecasting and insights on actual results, with a focus on:
    • Developing and manage financial communications, including key business presentations to the Executive Team.
    • Developing scalable and repeatable processes with focus on continuous improvement.
    • Lead executive level discussions initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding academic credentials; Bachelor's degree required; MBA, graduate finance degree and/or CFA strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Onestream, Oracle, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • 7+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis, with demonstrated success in managing analytical talent, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Experience partnering with FP&A and Center-of-Excellence teams in supporting operations and executive level leaders.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to synthesize information, develop insights and communicate effectively in presentations and in-person meetings.
  • Passion for understanding and analyzing financial results in the context of creating value.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop the "story" and form recommendations.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong initiative and ability to multi-task.
  • Superb attention to detail balanced by ability to focus on the "big picture."
