With this in mind, we've crafted our program to allow you to engage directly in our values driven culture through company, department, and cohort events, all while being challenged with a blend of learning programs, informative networking sessions with IMA associates, and opportunities to engage in department specific work projects that have real world impact for our clients, our business, and our associates.

As an intern, your time will be split between a core program shared throughout the cohort and work, projects and programming designed specifically for the Community Relations and Communications department.

Our team is excited to host an intern for the upcoming 2025 summer program! This position will be in Denver. Day to day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:




  • Assist in the planning and logistics for IMA Foundation's Party on the Plaza event, including registration support, contract management, payment tracking, applying for permits and general event support for the event
  • Plan and coordinate all activities and communications for summer grant reception for Denver; provide support for other markets.
  • Plan and execute a volunteer activity for the interns in the Denver office; provide support for other markets to do the same.
  • Coordinate communications and follow-up on previous grant cycles, including payment and impact reporting.
  • Create and update content calendars for events, emails, social media, etc.
  • Draft and edit internal news articles, website pages, newsletters and/or emails for promotion or recaps.
  • Provide support for other internal communications tasks, including announcements on digital monitors, coordinating with creative design team and compiling slide decks.
  • Support the Corporate Communications team with other duties as assigned.

You Should Have:

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Communications, Business, CSR/ESG, public policy, or related fields
  • Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment may be useful, but not required
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions

Salary Range
$18 $22 USD
