Job Classification & Official Title: 8352P2, Research Professional 2 Working Title: Special Programs Manager Appointment Time: 100% (40 hours/week) Employee Class: Civil Service Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,775, depending on qualifications. The successful candidate will clearly articulate the connection between this position and their unique work, education, and lived experience. They will serve as key members of the DCN and RADS teams, reporting to the Director of the DCN. They will work closely with collaborators in the RADS research, particularly a cohort of 7 institutions that are geographically distributed across the United States. Environment This position will be fully-remote and based out of the University of Minnesota Libraries, the fiscal home of the Data Curation Network. The DCN is a membership organization of institutional and non-profit data repositories whose vision is to advance open research by making data more ethical, reusable, and understandable. The incumbent will be expected to maintain work hours in central time. Responsibilities The DCN Special Programs Manager will draw from their experience providing support in a research environment, higher education setting, library, or association, and will have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and a variety of stakeholders. They will split their time between the RADS research and the operations of the DCN. The individual will also promote the work of RADS and the DCN through research, publication, and professional engagement. The successful candidate will:
