Texas Oncology is looking for an Remote Area Lab Manager to join our team! This position will support the Central Texas region. It is strongly preferred that candidate reside in Austin, Texas or San Antonio, Texas. There will be up to 10% travel within the region. What does the Area Lab Manager do? Provides technical supervision for multiple laboratories (4 or more) and is accountable for the direction and organization of these. Advises the Executive Director and Sr VP as needed as to the clinical needs, issues, and policies of lab. Recommends organizational objectives to assure quality patient testing. Provides financial analyses to assure profitability of labs as needed. Maintains overall responsibility for laboratory operations and activities for laboratories under his or her technical supervision. Provides direct supervision to lab staff and supervisors as needed. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities:

Requires corrected vision, color perception and hearing to normal range. Requires legible handwriting.
