Position Summary The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Gearing Division within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions Segment that is based out of Regal Rexnord's Milwaukee, WI headquarters offices. The role is a critical partner to the local operations teams in optimizing and executing financial planning, reporting and analysis in support of the Division's continued growth. This is a hybrid work schedule with three days in office each week. Key Responsibilities
  • Summarize and present financial results, along with key sales and cost drivers.
  • Lead variance analysis to key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year, etc.) and clearly communicate key assumptions/inputs to plant leadership to ensure achievement of performance objectives.
  • Provide educated, insightful commentary to Division management at the end of the reporting period.
  • Develop and deploy key operational metrics and analysis to support daily management of the business, while proactively managing costs and working capital to drive sustainable improvement.
  • Partner with Operations to support make/buy decisions, capital investments, inventory management, ad hoc analysis, and other needs.
  • Lead Division level inventory standard costing and margin analysis activities, including managing the annual standards roll.
  • Assist in the build of monthly forecast, strategic plan, and Annual Operating Plan (budget)
  • Leverage analytical skills and system knowledge to organize and synthesize large amounts of data. Effectively translate data into insights that assists stakeholders in understanding business performance, including recommending solutions to improve performance
  • Gather and analyze information to help identify P&L and working capital trends. Communicate potential risks and opportunities vs the plan and recommend action plans to improve returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide support on strategic projects such as capital spend allocations, cash flow projections, and integration activity.
  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization to ensure expectations, timelines, and finance deliverables are consistently understood and completed.
  • Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies.
Job Requirements This position is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required. (CPA designation a plus)
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in financial/accounting functions, including cost, in a durable manufacturing industry is required.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills, as well as experience with OneStream, Power BI, Hyperion or other consolidation and reporting tools is required.
  • Demonstrated competency and ability to effectively present financial concepts and narratives to non-financial audiences (such as analysis of sales reports for margins) is required.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities. Highly productive with a strong sense of urgency and orientation to details, accuracy, and excellent outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills which fosters teamwork and collaboration and develops high quality working relationships in order to influence, gain support, and achieve results.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and an advocate for change. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to adapt to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Strong work ethic, including the ability to be self-directed and self-motivated. Models professionalism, passion, and initiative with projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle proprietary and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Willing and able to occasionally travel up to 10% to domestic and international Gearing Division sites as needed is required.
