    Job Description

    The Senior Cloud Architect will play a pivotal role in driving Cornerstone's digital transformation and accelerating its growth within the industry. This position is instrumental in delivering high-quality, enterprise-level solutions that harness the latest technology advancements, fostering sustainable development and facilitating business expansion.

    As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in crafting comprehensive enterprise cloud strategies. Your responsibilities span the entire cloud adoption lifecycle, from initial assessments and design to proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization. By leveraging your expertise, you will guide Cornerstone in maximizing the benefits of cloud technology, positioning the company for long-term success in a rapidly evolving landscape.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions based on business requirements
    • Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively
    • Serve as the technical subject-matter expert and a resource for technical escalation
    • Identify enhancement opportunities and assist in developing them across the enterprise through innovation and automation
    • Enable faster and smarter business processes
    • Engage with senior managers regularly, reporting on project status, activities, and achievements
    • Other duties as required
    Qualifications
      • Engineering degree or equivalent experience (relevant certifications are a plus)
      • 10+ years of relevant experience within the technology space
      • 10+ years of experience planning, designing, documenting, and driving architecture
      • 5+ years of relevant experience with automation and orchestration to deploy architecture
      • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
      • Strong understanding of security and compliance considerations in Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
      • Expert in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
      • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in cloud platforms
      • Knowledge of Azure AI services and integration capabilities
      • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Expert (AZ-305)
      • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Professional
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

      Technical Requirements:

      • Expert level experience with Azure Resource Groups, Key Vaults, VMs, VMSS, Storage resources, and infrastructure design for applications
      • Expert level experience Architecting, designing, and implementing Azure Networking Services: Hub-n-Spoke,Virtual WAN, Virtual Network, Secure Hub, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Firewall, VPN Gateway, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager/FrontDoor, Express Route
      • Expert level experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure compute services: Flexible shapes, file systems, object storage, DBaaS
      • Expert level experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure networking services: VCN, DRG, Tenant Peering, NSGs, Network and Flexible load balancing, and Fastconnect
      • Expert level experience with containerization technologies (AKS, Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes)
      • Expert level experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code in a multi-cloud environment. Proficient with ARM, Bicep, and Terraform as well as devop pipelines for application development, deployment, and testing
      • Expert level experience in Cloud Platform Governance and security standards in both Azure and OCI
      • Familiarity with Identity and Access models in on-prem (Active Directory) and public cloud ( SAML SSO, MFA)
      • Experience Integrating AI technologies into Azure Infrastructure to enhance automation, Machine Learning, and intelligent communication capabilities
      • Experience working closely with data scientists and AI specialists to implement machine learning models within the Azure Infrastructure
      • Ensure Azure and OCI Tenants compliance with industry regulations and company policies
      • Hands-on experience with both lift-and-shift and greenfield Cloud migrations
      • Ability to create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams and documentation
      • Proven understanding of Project Management
      • Strong knowledge and experience in IT Operations and Support Models

      The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 -140,000 +10% Annual Bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
