A Day in the Life

  • Set up, adjust, repair, and change out tooling on machines and equipment used in molding lead and nylon threads on products.
  • Operate all relevant machinery and equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Inspect products for quality using blueprints, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Work under general supervision and perform tasks across classifications as needed.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Ability to sit or stand and perform highly repetitive tasks for up to ten hours.
  • Full mobility including walking, hearing, seeing, and using both hands effectively.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lb. cartons from a height of 6" to 48", at a rate of approximately 40 per hour, and move them a distance of 3 feet to a pallet.
  • Ability to push loaded skids using 20 lbs. of force over a distance of 6 feet, periodically.
