Key Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of all sourcing-related functions: performing due-diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, executing RFx events, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective delivery of products or design/construction services Identify and lead appropriate field resources to execute initiatives, manage supplier relationships related to products procured, project services delivered and address any issues that arise Ensure contracting and procurement compliance standards, policies and procedures are followed and maintained throughout the portfolio Partner with the client to drive both immediate and sustained benefits related to spend analysis initiatives to drive cost savings, operational efficiencies and supplier performance improvements Lead sourcing initiatives that provide detailed service commodity strategies that identify objectives, leveraged spend initiatives, and milestone timelines Proactively manage internal and external client expectations Analyze pricing proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of vendor pricing and capabilities Support supplier diversity program in accordance with client and company requirements Administer and maintain vendor contract files to ensure consistency and compliance to client requirements Build transparency of spend and key risks related to vendors, reporting results and actionable opportunities Proactively engage with Center of Excellence and Regional Directors to provide management and guidance in support of standardized RFx/contracting processes and procedures Establish and maintain relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management Partners to ensure all contractual terms and conditions remain compliant ensuring deviations from standard terms are formally reviewed and approved Engage in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by leveraging business and industry intelligence, adopting and participating in the development of best practices, new tools, process re-engineering and other ideas that provide service delivery efficiencies Assist in developing a comprehensive annual sourcing plan for category services including strategy, cost savings and risk mitigation Perform additional job duties, as requested Qualifications Bachelor's degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management or Procurement 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories (e.g. facility services, highly desired) Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, organization skills and analytical ability Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering results in a fast paced and challenging environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate professionally Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) |
