This position may primarily serve both the York and Lancaster Campuses.

Job Summary: Responsible for adherence to all policies and procedures of the college, Commonwealth of PA and Federal Government regarding Veteran Affairs (VA) and US Department of Defense (DoD). Responsible for reporting and tracking Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA) programs and VA Chapter 31. Responsible for veteran student account reconciliation; providing support for electronic payment processing; return check processing for VA Chapter 33, Education Assistance Program (EAP) and Military Family Education Program (MFEP). Responsible for processing EDI, EAP, MFEP reports weekly; downloading and verifying disbursement rosters. Verifying student enrollment and Veteran Benefit Requests status. Entering payments in (BANNER and spreadsheets). Completing, reconciling, and returning rosters for each term. Processing and return funds to VA, EAP, MFEP, when required. Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience.*
*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License

Hiring Range: $41,365 - $51,706

Knowledge of VA Enrollment Management System
Knowledge of Army Ignited System
Knowledge of Air Force AI Portal System

Job Specific Task List:



  • 15% - Creates a climate of engagement for military and veteran students that supports persistence, retention, and graduation - (Essential)
  • 45% - Process payments, adjust payments and reconciles payments for the Veteran benefit programs, EAP, MFEP, 1606, VR&E, Post 9/11 GI Bill, DEA Chapter 35, Federal Tuition Assistance and VRRAP. Including updating VA, EAP, MFEP, FTA and VR&E managers of changes to student's enrollment status - (Essential)
  • 10% - Aid staff and students with inquiries concerning account balances, refunds, 3rd party contract, Veteran benefit programs, EAP, MFEP, 1606, VR&E, Post 9/11 GI Bill, DEA Chapter 35, Federal Tuition Assistance and VRRAP payments - (Essential)
  • 10% - Advises veteran, active duty, and dependent students regarding military benefits and how to apply; advises veterans and other eligible students of the impact on the veteran's education benefits and the potential financial aid consequences of dropping or withdrawing from courses - (Essential)
  • 10% - Responsible for inputting Chapter 33 tuition and fees in VA Enrollment System and processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) reports. Additionally, responsible to process EDI payments into BANNER for payment to students - (Essential)
  • 10% - Update VA, EAP, MFEP, FTA and VR&E managers of changes to student's enrollment status. - (Essential)
  • Performs other duties as assigned - (Standard)
