JOB SUMMARY: MCSG is seeking a qualified FPGA Developer to support Code 587 (Science Data Processing Branch) for the design, development, implementation and integration of science data processing applications and science data processing technology for flight, in-situ and ground based systems. Location: This job is located at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.

PRIMARY DUTIES:



  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate science data processing applications
  • Perform MicroSemi development work (RTG$/ProASIC)



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience with Xilinx, UltraScale devices.
  • Experience with Development, Programming and Testing.
  • Knowledge of FPGA i.e.. Xilinx, Microsemi
  • Primarily Xilinx UltraScale devices (using Xilinx's Vivado tools)
  • MicroSemi development work (RTG4/ProASIC)
  • Ability to motivate groups of people in a complex project environment in completing a project in a timely manner
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully and proactively with a distributed team



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Masters Degree in computer science or related field.



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of design, development, implementation and integration of science data processing applications and science data processing technology

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or related Engineering disciplines.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a National Agency Check (NAC) security badge to enter the applicable government facility.
