Overview

The Waters Global Services Product Management team is on a mission to improve both our customer and employee experience by transforming how we plan and distribute spares in Waters Global Services. As the Services Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for improving the global availability of service spares for new and existing products. You will also be responsible for supporting Waters Lifecycle Management process by commercializing new parts and ensuring obsoleted parts are removed from Waters' systems. This will require you to work independently and as part of several cross-functional teams. To facilitate the development of robust processes and ensure close collaboration with global operations and procurement, this role will be based at Waters Global Headquarters in Milford, MA. This role will report to the Director, Global Services Product Management. Location: Milford (US)



Responsibilities

    Lead cross-functional efforts to improve inventory control processes and procedures in support of the organization's goals and objectives based on outstanding customer service and operational quality.
  • Map current processes to identify best practices, bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Supply sound advice and creative new ideas, concepts and approaches relative to inventory management.
  • Set up dashboards to supervise and analyze the supply chain regularly to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflow and supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and goals.
  • Initiate and follow up on ECRs from a supply chain perspective for the purpose of commercializing new parts and obsoleting old parts.
  • Work in coordination with Instrument Product Managers, Demand Planners, and Service Delivery teams to ensure service spares availability for new and existing instruments.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party providers, cross-functional teams, including office and field to resolve inventory-related issues and optimize inventory management processes.


Qualifications

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to lead cross-functional resolution efforts focused on crafting an outstanding customer experience.
  • Tackle complicated problems, especially using advanced skills to compile/analyze data.
  • Successfully communicate problem statements and escalate concerns.
  • Present data and analyses in an organized, clear, and concise manner.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset with a sense of urgency and excellence.
  • Experience working with the SAP system and with Celonis preferred but not required.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in internal Service Supply Chain Management, Business administration, or a related field. #LI-Hybrid
