Job Summary: The Utility Porter will be responsible for various facility-related tasks, including special event room set-ups, light building maintenance, attendant to the onsite shoppe, and running errands to pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, and/or materials required for maintenance and/or operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
Responsibilities: Set up and dismantle rooms for special events based on predetermined layouts and instructions Coordinate with the local onsite JLL team to ensure all requirements for room set-ups are met Perform light building maintenance tasks Onsite shoppe attendant Run errands to pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, or materials as needed for maintenance or operations Serve as a backup for pond maintenance and the car wash attendant Assist the facilities team with various tasks as assigned, including safety inspections, vendor coordination, and maintenance projects Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in facilities management is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Ability to follow instructions, layouts, and event timelines to ensure accurate and timely room set-ups Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with event planners, clients, and internal teams Proficient in using hand and power tools for basic maintenance tasks Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as required | |
