This position provides grant support to faculty in the Medical School. The position reports to the Director of Pre-Award and Proposal Development Services. Responsibilities/Duties: The Grants & Contracts Professional 2 will support the Medical School Dean's Office, Pre-Award team. Top priorities will include assisting with grant proposals, supporting grant development tools, and process improvement feedback. The individual will work closely with the Director, Officer 1, pre-award cohort team members, and Medical School faculty and research administration staff school-wide to facilitate research activities. The individual will offer guidance and expertise on the preparation and submission of internal and external proposals. The individual will work closely with the large/complex grant program manager and department representatives to align processes and submit large grants for the Medical School. 85%: Pre-Award Proposal Development Services
15%: Research Administrative Support
