Data Analyst Intern

The Data Analyst Intern is responsible for developing and supporting data and analytical requests for the Manufacturing Operations organization using available data mining and business intelligence tools. They should demonstrate a keen interest in learning the end user's business and processes to devise reporting that reliably answers their questions, aids them in making good business decisions, is scalable, and can be leveraged for new future needs. Must enjoy analyzing, processing, and/or troubleshooting large volumes of data. Must be a US Citizen.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with G-Suite (G-mail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Technically adept and highly adaptable with ability to learn rapidly
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Domo, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, or similar BI tool is a plus
  • Experience in data manipulation and visualization tools such as R and Python is a plus

  • Create & maintain reports, queries, and solutions that exploit the available data and tools
  • Deliver solutions that are scalable and anticipate future needs
  • Define and execute robust testing of provided solutions
  • Ensure documentation is complete and kept current
  • Identify, categorize, and organize reports to facilitate use
  • Goal driven self-starter who ably multitasks despite competing priorities

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
