Overview

Proposes, implements, and maintains enterprise-wide applications and systems that support Esri onsite and cloud solutions. In this position, you'll build and maintain tools that provide monitoring, configuration management, alerting, analysis, and dashboards to teams throughout the organization with a high level of automation.

Responsibilities



  • Implement, configure, and support server, endpoint and application management systems including monitoring, Log Management and configuration management systems
  • Define and standardize a proactive monitoring approach supporting a global company, with success criteria including establishing best practices and operational standards
  • Administer enterprise monitoring tools;
  • Develop and support enterprise log management systems
  • Provide analysis on trends in system utilization to assist with capacity planning
  • Create and maintain operational dashboards that provide real-time and historical analysis with customizable views to support various audiences
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and infrastructure and operations teams to ensure base requirements are delivered and future enhancements align with operational needs


Requirements



  • 2+ years of IT experience
  • Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting software applications deployed on various operating systems
  • Experience with mission critical monitoring, log management and configuration management environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools like, Dynatrace, SCOM, and SolarWinds
  • Familiarity with log management tools like Splunk
  • Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS and Azure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus people and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision in a 24x7 environment
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent analytical skills and dedicated to completing tasks on schedule
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or related STEM field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Experience with enterprise systems solutions for monitoring, log management, and configuration management
  • Technical experience with various server environments such as application, web, database, virtualization, storage, load balancers, and firewalls

$66,560 $117,520 USD
