We are searching for a talented Social Worker - LICSW/LMHC (Emergency Dept)

* $1,800 New Hire Sign-On Bonus with independent licensure LICSW/LMHC at time of hire (Rehires Termed More than 1 year also eligible)

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Evening shift 3:30pm-12am (with flexibility) weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services performs a wide variety of duties in Southcoast Physician Practices providing behavioral health services to Southcoast Health PCP patients across the system. Duties include conducting behavioral health assessments and providing behavioral health treatment including individual and family psychotherapy utilizing brief treatment modalities. Serves as a consultant and resource to practice staff in the management and treatment of behavioral health disorders.

• A Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited college or university.
• Current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience with electronic medical record documentation
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
