The Informatics Department in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences is a diverse and thriving community made up of 30 full-time faculty, almost 100 graduate students, dozens of lecturers, and five staff. In addition to a PhD program, the department also houses two professional master's programs. Your Role on the Team Under the supervision of the Director of Personnel in ICS, incumbent will support the Department of Informatics in coordinating, managing, and providing analytical and administrative support for all facets of Senate and Non-Senate Academic Personnel, including: merits, promotions, recruitment, appointments, voting, visiting employment procedures, leaves of absence and sabbaticals, and international relations. Applies professional UC Academic HR concepts, organization and / or system wide policies, and procedures to provide guidance to supervisors and managers to resolve a variety of academic human resources issues of moderate scope and complexity Hybrid position - working on site 3 days a week, remote from home 2 days a week What It Takes to be Successful Total Compensation In addition to the salary range listed below, we offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
