University Libraries, Music/Media Job Description
This position works at the Music/Media desk and the ground floor of the Miller Nichols Library, reports to the Head, Music/Media, and supervises the 15-20 Music/Media student assistants. This position is in charge of the Music/Media area and ground floor during work shifts, including assisting patrons and being responsible for opening the Music/Media Library Monday-Friday. This position works with the Circulation billing manager, maintains the Music/Media reserves collection, performs Music/Media acquisitions tasks, oversees supplies and media playback equipment ordering and maintenance, and performs other Music/Media duties. Job Duties:
Shift
This position works Monday-Friday and is responsible for supervising the Music/Media desk and ground floor during all work shifts, and for opening the library Monday-Friday. The position will occasionally cover other shifts in the absence of other employees. Any permanent schedule changes must be approved by the Supervisor. Due to job responsibilities of staffing an in-person service desk and supervising onsite student assistants, routine remote work is rare for this position. This position's hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
Anticipated starting salary between $17.70 and $20.00 commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Application Deadline
