We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Medication Technician (Med Tech) responsibilities to join our healthcare team. In this dual-role position, you will provide essential support in daily patient care and assist with medication management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Ensure accurate medication dosing, timing, and documentation.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications and report any issues to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain medication storage areas and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Document patient care activities, including medication administration and changes in patient status, accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address any concerns.
  • Participate in care planning meetings and provide input on patient progress and needs.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow facility policies and regulatory guidelines for medication management and patient care.
  • Attend training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and regulatory changes.
