Work Schedule: On-site Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Reporting To: Systems Integration/Controls Lead Engineer & Engineering Manager Type of Employment: Full-time w/JLL employee benefits within 1 month of employment What this job involves: The Facility Systems Integration Specialist at JLL is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our power monitoring systems within a specific region. This role requires coding experience, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Facility Systems Integration Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring optimal facility performance, high-quality maintenance services, and client satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like:System integrated development to include, OPC (DMZ), Power Management Expert, Schneider Electric, Johnson Metasys System and SQL Database Provides Visio drawings of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections. Power Management Expert for NC Locations (Data Center, Administration and Manufacturing Buildings) and MA, CA, UT, VA as necessary. Communicates with Client team to ensure high levels satisfaction. Meets regularly with Client Team to become familiar with operational problems. Keeps Client informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs. This includes: weekly staff meetings, weekly Controls meeting, energy management projects/initiatives, Vulnerability/Cybersecurity compliance programs and OptiPlex Computing/energy management/controls strategy Adheres to all JLL and Client's safety standards. Provides safety awareness on work sites. May provide training for others on electronic control systems and software such as Power Management Expert, OPC (DMZ) and Device installation/wiring/configuration Provides support to the mechanical staff on non-complex, non-critical equipment. Installs, operates, troubleshoots and verifies functional performance of building automation and control systems such as Power Management Expert, OPC (DMZ), Device installation/wiring/configuration. Controls commissioning/verification for all power monitoring systems and controls which includes: alarm verification, prioritization, resource management, failover sequencing and dashboard/GUI experience Inspects, calibrates, repairs, and installs a wide range of control, sensing and actuating devices: Modbus, OPC, BACNET and SQL Performs preventive maintenance on energy management systems and equipment to include: log files, metering accuracy, energy KWH reporting-monthly (ISO 50K SEUs) ISO 50K SEUs, RTUs, Busway, Lighting, Compressed Air, Data Center and Utility Main SWG. Modbus Gateway Communication, Dashboard Capacity/Load Reporting, Data Center/Labs, Architectural Review-annually including TAGS Compliance Responds to service calls to restore systems operation and control. Provides recommendation on equipment/systems operation and modification for energy conservation, efficiency, and reliability. Product/device validation to ensure meets Customer cybersecurity requirements: Parallel Switching Gear-SCADA, UPS Energy Management and SCADA-Power Management Expert Required experience and skills:High School diploma or GED equivalent; 2 year degree, Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable 4+ years of relevant work experience with various control systems, including Matrikon OPC, Power Management Expert, Schneider Electric, Johnson Metasys Systems, SQL Database, Carrier Comfort Network, relay logic, etc. Metasys Building Automation System exposure Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license to travel to client sites as needed. Must successfully pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process before beginning employment. Thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical control systems in commercial buildings. Experience interpreting, modifying, and developing mechanical and electrical drawings. Proficient in programming and troubleshooting complex building automation systems. Proficient in administering systems within a Windows Server environment Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to building automation. Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS) Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook) Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
