New Shepard is a reusable suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line - the internationally recognized boundary of space. Through operational reusability, New Shepard supports our mission of lowering the cost of access to space. As part of a multidisciplinary team of Avionics engineers, you will deliver Avionics hardware systems to New Shepard. As part of the hardworking and diverse New Shepard Avionics harnessing team, you will be responsible for the design and installation of electrical harnesses for the New Shepard Propulsion Module and Crew Capsule. You will be integrated with our rocket program and technical leads to drive requirements definition, modeling, analysis, design, test, and production release of on-vehicle launch, components, and sub-systems. This is a hands-on position that will involve you in all aspects of engineering, design, fabrication, installation, test, and operations support. Additionally, you will work with Manufacturing Engineers and Integration Engineers to respond to and help resolve harnessing non-conformances and anomalies, ensuring each New Shepard is fit for flight and reflight. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
