Work Schedule:

TEMP RN Position: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide instruction for the Nursing Assistant Program in a temporary capacity. 45% FTE. You will work primarily at 610 N. Whitney Way. Occasional travel to University Hospital to support clinical coverage as needed. This is a temporary position.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:



  • Provide didactic and clinical instruction and evaluation for the Nursing Assistant Program per WI Department of Health Services guidelines.
  • Assure compliance with program expectations and support program objectives and outcomes.
  • Perform student evaluation and use continuous quality improvement techniques to determine the effectiveness of instruction and student achievement.
  • Create a classroom environment that is respectful of diversity and demonstrates a commitment to multiculturalism.


Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 1 year of inpatient RN experience and one (1) year of long-term care, Rehab or LPN experience Required
  • 3 years of inpatient RN experience Preferred
  • Skills teaching or didactic teaching experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
  • BLS certification Required
  • Nurse Aide Program Primary Instructor in the State of WI Preferred
