Position Highlights:

  • Location: 303 W Lake Street, Addison, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time

  • Hours: Clinic Hours are Monday through Thursday 7am to 7:30pm; Friday 7am to 4:30pm

What you will need:

Required License and/or Certification with License:

  • Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure

  • Current American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CRP/AED for the professional rescuer certification

  • A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Required without License:

  • Authorization from the NCBOT to take examination

  • Proof of scheduled exam date

  • Letter of Authorization stating the applicant may practice work without their license under supervision

  • Illinois Occupational Therapist license within 90 days of hire

  • Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider or American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification

What you will do:

Provides direct occupational therapy services to patients. Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals. Evaluates patients in the areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills and cognition/perception in order to develop and implement treatment plans and goals. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care. Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy. Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.
