Manufacturing Engineering Intern- Summer 2025

The Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting production and engineering in the design and development of manufacturing processes, work instructions, production router/ travelers throughout the operation to maximize safety, product quality, and efficiency.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

Our Facility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries.

Job Summary

  • Provide routine technical support to the operations team.
  • Assist with defect reduction efforts using Statistical Process Controls.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and procure tooling and jigs.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to ensure on-time delivery of product.
  • Participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to develop process routing .
  • Determine root cause and corrective action of non-conforming product and NCMR in MRB meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic circuit analysis and knowledge of electronics safety precautions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Required Experience and Education

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing/ working toward a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field(s) from an accredited College or University. Junior or Senior standing as of fall 2025.
