**Start Date is 5/28/2025 for unlicensed interns; 6/4/2025 for those who are already licensed in their resident state for both life and health insurance (NOT required to be licensed at time of hire)**

This 10-12-week internship is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:45pm EST. After successful completion of the internship program, opportunity for continued employment may exist. Our office is located at 7440 Woodland Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46278. The ability to work hybrid exists if the at home workspace meets our compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:



    • Obtain Resident Life and Health Insurance License (pass state exam) within the first 30 days of employment
    • Learn about the various roles and aspects of a dynamic insurance call center, including systems, processes, compliance expectations, product options, and sales techniques
    • Apply your learning by:

      • receiving and handling inbound calls from customers interested in purchasing insurance products
      • accurately transferring qualified calls to the appropriate team
      • answering transferred calls and completing customer applications
      • updating the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database with customer information
      • handling customer inquiries via chat and recognizing potential sales opportunities
      • collaborating with others as part of a team or work independently to solve routine or complex problems


    • Participate in researching, preparing, and delivery of a final executive presentation
    • Mentoring, networking, and various enterprise-wide opportunities

    Required Qualifications:



    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
    • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.



    Preferred Qualifications:



    • Pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Operations, Sales/Marketing, or a related business field
    • Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications including Microsoft Word and Excel, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs
    • Ability to multi-task, including the ability to navigate a computer while speaking on the telephone
    • 3.0 cumulative GPA
