Methode is seeking an Assembler to aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products to meet customer specifications. In this role, you will support all production assembly business segments. As a leading global power distribution and thermal management solutions provider, Methode Power Solutions Group designs and manufactures innovative products that help engineers solve their unique design challenges. Our teams collaborate with customers to design and develop robust systems that meet the requirements of high demand applications. Responsibilities:
Read work orders and standardized work to position and align parts in specified relationship to each other; jig, fixture or, another holding device
Mount assembly components, hardware or compounds
Connect, test and pack various assembled materials or products
Oversee machines that press, shape, cut. and cure various assembles
Clean booths and paint controls at the end of run; clean pumps, hoses, nozzles, etc.
Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks, as assigned, on the paint booth equipment
Maintain neat and orderly work areas and observe all safety rules
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required
At least 1 year of assembly experience in a TS, AS or ISO facility
Must have ability to read and interpret blue prints
Basic math skills required; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
Ability to work independently
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
