HVAC Technician
Overview Preventative/predictive/corrective maintenance and repair of EVMS building HVAC systems and other facility type maintenance and repairs. Major areas of concentration include HVAC, mechanical, electronic and computer controls, plumbing, and other environmental systems. Responsibilities Primary responsibility will be to perform preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and other mechanical systems throughout EVMS buildings and student housing apartments during the evening shift.
Qualifications HVAC Journeyman or Master Level License plus five (5) years of experience, or ability to obtain licensure within 1 year of employment. Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS). Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. Must have a valid Virginia Driver's License. Must be insurable through EVMS insurance carrier.
