Description: NSI requires a Logistics Analyst to support the Score Technology and Analytics Center. This position supports tasking in PMA-231, NAVAIR headquarters at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will support the E-2D/E-2C Hawkeye customer and shall provide technical and analytical support services for integration and sustainment planning to the USN Sensors IPT for the E-2D Sensors, subsystems, IFF, Electric Warfare and Radar Integrated Product Support (IPS) efforts. This is an entry-level position. Aids in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives within agreed time, cost, technical, quality, and other performance criteria. Products include but are not limited to acquisition strategies/plans and other statutory/regulatory documentation/logistics plans (writing, editing, cross walking, and compliance checking), briefings and white papers supporting acquisition and sustainment decisions at various milestones.

  • Provide logistics support to the Sensors Product IPTL's and DAPML and correspondingly to the Program Office PSM, APML/Deputies and LEMs across the full spectrum of the IPS elements.
  • Support SMEs for respective organizations, including IMRL, SE, Tech Data, Configuration Management.
  • Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems.
  • Work on logistics planning, performance, and execution of new and fielded systems with internal and external stakeholders to include:

    • Assist the DAPML in technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources.
    • Assist the DAPML in the development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.
    • Prepare and support Program Management Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings with various stakeholders.
    • Assist the DAPML in systems acquisition requirements analysis.
    • Assist the DAMPL breakdown work and document integrated master schedules.
    • Works closely with the program schedule team to provide logistics inputs to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by identifying logistics workload and documenting durations, start dates, work completion dates while identifying logistics dependencies.
    • Assist the DAPML to identify and document program risks and formulate mitigation plans and document in the risk database, monitor burn down, and updates database risks.
    • Assist the DAPML in by attending meeting representing Sensors logistics.
    • Assist in the identification and estimates of budgetary or financial requirement for logistics.
    • Work with the cost estimation group to get procurement cost and life cycle cost analysis.
    • Gain an understanding of Sensors weapons systems hardware and software, supply chain, depot and fleet maintenance requirements and monitors performance of fielded support capabilities and plans for deficiencies with applicable LEMs.
    • Assist with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution to include the RCB process.
    • Assists the DAPML in ILS/R&M program coordination.
    • Assists the DAPML in the Configuration Management process, assist in preparing MAT packages, and providing support for CCB's and other change management processes.
    • Assist in writing Statements of Work (SOW's) and CDRL's packages to support procurements.
    • Assists the DAPML and IPTL's in identifying and documenting unfunded logistics requirements and documenting the associated program risks and schedules.
    • Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.




Location: Lexington Park, MD

Education: BS or BA degree in Engineering

Experience: At least 2 years of applicable experience.

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
