The Sample Department Scheduler is responsible for overseeing the successful representation of Pregis PolyMask products. Their duties will include performing specialized tasks, critical thinking, attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently. The Sample Department Scheduler must be well versed in the visual properties of the various products; in order, to make certain the customer receives product that reflects our commitment to quality. Scheduled work hours TBD, five days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sample Department Scheduler has a wide range of responsibilities, which includes, but not limited to:

• Direct contact for sales and CSR's regarding sample orders and shipments.
• Schedule any sample that needs to go through converting as well as assisting with all scheduling responsibilities of the converting department.
• Inspect quality of log rolls in to determine a high level of quality.
• If needed, assist in operation of lathe machine to cut samples from stocked log rolls per customer request.
• Enter sample work orders and production into SAP system.
• Ensure all samples are shipped on time.
• Ensure all samples are entered on POL if late prior to due date.
• Run necessary reports and analyze data in Excel.
• Organizes and maintains the entire sample area; including, aged inventory and disposition.
• Responsible for the Kanban of all packaging supplies and supplying order request to purchasing department for their department.
• Communicate effectively with multiple departments within the organization. This includes customer service, sales, production, R & D and supply chain.
• Act as back up all departments in Supply Chain.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through the production and packaging of the representative product.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Minimum Associates Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in a customer service position.

Requirements:

• Experience in SAP or equivalent MRP/ERP system.
• Excellent communication skills working with cross-functional departments
• Able to demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Must be self-sufficient with direction given and strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to effectively multi-task.
• Moderate to advance experience in Microsoft Office; primarily, Excel.
