City of Hope Medical Group Seeks Hematologist Oncologists to Join Our Simi Valley Team

City of Hope provides Simi Valley and the surrounding communities with oncologic care, including hematology, medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology and breast surgery . The Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a full-time medical oncologist to join our established practice.

Primary Responsibilities:

Join our nationally recognized team of medical and surgical cancer specialists as we seek to hire a full-time medical oncologist for our Simi Valley Network site.

  • Join 2 medical oncologists,a gynecologic oncology, a surgical oncology,and a breast surgeon.
  • Effort allocation: 95% clinical
  • Cover only one clinic location with inpatient rounding at Adventist Health Simi Valley and Los Robles Regional Medical Center

Position Highlights:

  • Generous salary and potential for sign-on bonus
    • Pay range: $300k-$400k*The salary range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
  • A very generous sign-on bonus for the Simi Valley location.

Qualifications:

* 1-3 years of experience outside of fellowship New graduates will also be reviewed.

* Candidate will do Medical Oncology and Hematology

* Academic record consistent with appointment at the Assistant Clinical Professor level at City of Hope National Medical Center

* The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license

* ABIM board eligibility/certification in medical oncology and hematology
