Job Description

UMSL College of Nursing invites applications for clinical adjunct faculty positions. This is a continuous posting to fill vacancies in all semesters.

Positions vary by semester. Applications will be kept on file for one year. Applications are encouraged from individuals in the following areas of expertise:

Responsibilities:

* Ability to provide effective clinical and/or classroom instruction.
* Open to development and use of innovative instructional strategies and technology.
* Commitment to effective translation of evidence into practice and education.
* Demonstrated knowledge in field of expertise.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in nursing and healthcare.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in nursing
  • Clinical expertise in assigned teaching area

Other Information

This is a non-benefit-eligible, part-time, non-tenure-track position. Start dates correspond to the academic semesters starting mid-August, mid-January, and mid-May. Appointment period is for one semester with consideration for reappointment.
