Instrumentation & Controls Technician
Overview Waters Corporation is currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician (Second Shift) to join our Taunton Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Controls & Automation team and be involved in projects with a variety of instrumentation and technology needs. The I&C technician will support our new innovative manufacturing facility through DCS troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance. In addition, they will play a key role in the testing, calibration, and qualification of our process control system. The ideal candidate must have a diverse technical skills with the ability to work independently. The Technician will act as technical expert on the instrumentation aspects, control system, and control network devices. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a very fast paced & dynamic manufacturing environment. This position is on 2nd Shift (3 PM to 11:30 PM) Responsibilities
Provide troubleshooting and calibration services for all process and analytic instrumentation and control system equipment in the plant DCS to minimize downtime and loss of production; provide after-hours technical support to 2nd and 3rd shifts including weekends as vital.
