https://ualr.edu/engineering/ Summary of Job Duties:The successful candidate will teach computer engineering courses in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEG) program, graduate courses in MS and PhD programs, mentor undergraduate students on Capstone design projects, supervise thesis and dissertation research of graduate students, and perform scholarship. This is a nine-month, tenure-track position with an estimated start date of August 16, 2025. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Note: Information about the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEG) BS and MS programs, PhD program in Engineering (ECE Track), the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET), and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) may be viewed at the UALR website: www.ualr.edu. Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a related field (degree must be earned from an accredited university by August 15, 2025);

  • Prior teaching and industrial experience is desirable.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in areas such as Circuit and Network Analysis, Signals and Systems, Digital Systems, Power Systems, and Digital and Analog Communications;

  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students;

  • Service to the department, college, university, and community;

  • Contribute to scholarship within the discipline of ECE;

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse work environment, including working with multicultural populations and an understanding of, and sensitivity to, issues affecting women and minorities;

  • Prior teaching and industrial experience is desirable;

  • Demonstrated strong English communication skills.
