Provides outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents and adults in individual, family, couple and group therapy; provides consultation and educational services to community groups and agencies in a manner which respects diversity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct clinical treatment to adults, children, and adolescents as represented in the caseload through:

  • diagnostic evaluations and screenings

  • crisis/emergency assessment and intervention

  • treatment planning and assessment

  • individual, group, couple and family therapy

  • Provides behavioral health consultation to early intervention and early education and care programs. Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.

  • Consults with early intervention programs, early education and care programs, area schools, medical providers, individuals, and other social services agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.

  • Maintains client records and administrative records according to Center policy. Maintains unit productivity expectations.

  • Attends administrative staff meetings as required. Attends seminars, in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. In a Masters or Doctoral level program in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related program

2. Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and best practices to determine appropriate level of care

3. Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care
