Accountant Job Purpose Prepare monthly journal entries and ensures accuracy of entries by performing monthly account reconciliations such as cash, payroll, benefits, prepaids, tax etc. Assist with various Sales/Use tax and Property Tax compliance for both US and Canada. Interface with other departments as necessary. Ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP. Nature of Duties: Accountable for preparing journal entries Account reconciliations Close and balance sub ledger accounts Respond to various Corporate and Plant inquiries Be a team player Be able to customize pace Education & Experience Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting/finance 0-2years accounting experience Must be a US Citizen Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
