POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

McCallie Associates, Inc. is the prime contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Systems Engineering Advanced Services II (SEAS II) contract. McCallie has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer Level 1 to support on-going NASA space mission projects. This position is located at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Virginia.



  • A Junior Electrical Engineer must have a solid foundation in basic electrical engineering, digital, RF, power and ground system design principles.
  • A Junior Electrical Engineer must be familiar with automated design and development tools as well as methods and specifications for electrical, digital, RF, power, and ground systems design, test, interface, debug, and fabrication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics form an accredited institution.
  • A Junior Electrical Engineer shall have one year of experience in the fields described above.

  • Currently hold or ability to obtain a NASA Goddard badge (NACI background investigation) is required.
