POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

McCallie Associates, Inc. is the prime contractor for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's Systems Engineering Advanced Services II (SEAS II) contract. McCallie has an immediate need for an Aerospace Engineer 1 to support on-going NASA space mission projects. This position is located at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Virginia.



  • A Junior Aerospace Engineer must have a solid foundation in basic aerospace engineering principles. A Junior Aerospace Engineer must be familiar with the methods and specifications required for aerospace systems design, analysis, test, and fabrication.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Skills



  • A Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics form an accredited institution.
  • A Junior Aerospace Engineer shall have one year of aerospace experience working with automated design and development tools.


Security Requirements



  • Currently hold or ability to obtain a NASA Goddard badge (NACI background investigation) is required.
