Collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, you will provide real-time problem-solving to customer challenges and to enhance our products. What You'll Do
  • Engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to quickly resolve customer issues and improve product quality in a dynamic fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Supports product development from product prototyping, development, deployment/product release, and initial field support.
  • Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer engagement including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites supporting near term product releases and solve customer issues.
  • Create clear and concise reports to present analysis and support technical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to guide the specification and development of products.
  • Provides technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
  • Works in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.
Who We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical and experimental design skills.
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
  • Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position:$78,000.00-$176,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
