USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking to hire a Clinical Instructor (Fellow) to join the Spine Medicine Fellowship. Applications are reviewed each year between April and July with a projected start date in August. The salary range is $50,000- $85,000 for this position. The spine medicine fellow will work alongside physiatrists in obtaining expertise in multidisciplinary spine management. Training will include the prescription of physical therapy modalities, orthotics, and pain medications, including adjuvant medications and opiates. The training program includes substantial training in interventional spine procedures (e.g., epidural injections, facet injections, and radiofrequency ablation) and minor surgical procedures (spinal cord stimulators trials and implants). A large focus will also be dedicated to electrodiagnostic medicine to evaluate a patient with spine pain to include differential diagnoses for disease entities that mimic symptoms of spinal radiculopathy.
