JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Scranton has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to teach a variety of courses in Health and Human Development and Social Sciences; namely, criminal justice, curriculum and instruction, education, human development and family studies, kinesiology, nutrition, political science, psychology, and sociology, . The ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery.

Requirements include the minimum of an earned Master's degree. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. Applicants should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, contact information for three professional references, and a list of courses taught at the college level; all of which must be submitted online through our career site. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
