What You'll do:

  • Develop high quality demos and proof of concepts with Appian and tangential technologies

  • Present Appian and Groundswell solution capabilities to a wide variety of business and technical audiences to illustrate the value of the solution

  • Lead discovery sessions with prospective clients to gather requirements and gain insight into their business processes

  • Review requests for information/proposals to determine alignment with Appian

  • Guide prospective clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success

  • Assist with writing functional and technical elements of proposals

  • Ensure solution designs are designed for scale and performance

  • Be able to discuss implementation best practices and techniques in depth

  • Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools

  • Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

Who We are Looking For:

Groundswell is looking for experienced Appian Solutions Consultant to provide integrated development and demo support for our sales efforts and act as a trusted advisor to our clients, prospective clients and growth team. Appian Solutions Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on Appian capabilities and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Appian solutions

  • 4+ years of related IT experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area

  • Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification

  • Strong experience with building intuitive and attractive Appian user interfaces and designs

  • Experience with demonstrating products as a sales engineer/solutions consultant

  • Strong technical design and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude")

  • RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)

  • Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Preferred Skills:

  • UI/UX Design

  • Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

  • Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)

  • Data management and data visualization/BI

  • DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management

  • Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted forany applicable geographicdifferential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$114,632.00 - $161,159.00
