Shift: Weekend Shift, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Friday - Sunday + available overtime

Location: Faribault North - Off Interstate 35

Summary of Duties:




  • Connect and operate test stand unit and adjusts controls as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Ability to locate and identify the safe testing amperage and voltage.
  • Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly.
  • Ability to use computer test software effectively.
  • Complete required test documentation in a timely manner.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities within electrical and refrigeration systems.
  • Communicate the status of the test process to team members and supervisors.
  • Effective use of specialized and basic tools necessary to complete test process.
  • Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production.
  • Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area.
  • Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.
  • Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blue prints, sketches or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling and installing sheet metal products, including machine adjustments and material requirements per engineering requirements.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks).
  • All other duties as assigned.



Requirements:




  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 year trade school certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company.
  • Previous Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to operate hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand written English
